As the world turns its focus to COP 30, the Global Platform for Action (GPA) is proud to highlight the inspiring work of our partners who are leading crucial conversations at the intersection of climate action, energy access, and human mobility.
Across the two weeks of COP 30, partners will convene panels and discussions that spotlight inclusive, community-driven, and climate-smart solutions from refugee-led energy innovation to scaling finance in fragile contexts and empowering communities for a just transition in Africa and beyond.
Featured sessions include themes such as:
- Leading from the frontlines: solutions with refugees, internally displaced people, and migrants.
- Scaling climate and nature finance in refugee-hosting areas.
- Unlocking private capital for fragile contexts.
- Mini-grids for climate resilience and a just energy transition.
- Inclusive and locally-owned approaches to clean cooking.
- Climate justice, security, and indigenous-led forest protection.
We invite all COP30 attendees and partners to join the conversations, share insights, and explore the event calendar below to see where humanitarian energy will be making an impact in Belém.
